Adults interested in learning a new instrument are invited to take part in a new beginner ukulele program at the Lyndhurst Library.
The Lyndhurst Lug-Nuts Beginner Ukulele Group is launching its first series of sessions this spring, offering participants a fun and relaxed environment to practice learning the ukulele.
The group is geared toward adults who are new to the instrument and want to learn alongside others in a casual, supportive setting. Sessions will be held at the Lyndhurst Library and will run from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Four Saturday sessions are scheduled, beginning April 18, followed by dates on May 2, May 16, and May 30. Registration is required for the program.
For those who do not own an instrument, loaner ukuleles may be available upon request.
Organizers say the group is a great opportunity to learn basic skills while connecting with others in the community through music.
