The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation has issued fourth-quarter payments of $185,356 each to the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands and the Town of Gananoque for hosting Shorelines Casino Thousand Islands.
The payments cover the period from January 1 to March 31 and are part of OLG’s revenue-sharing program with host communities. For the 2025–2026 fiscal year, both municipalities have each received $873,544.
Since the casino opened in June 2002, total payments to each community have reached $34,459,793. OLG says the funding is calculated using a standardized formula based on gaming revenue at each site.
Officials note the revenue helps support local infrastructure, services, and community initiatives across the region.
