Student-athletes from Gananoque Secondary School wrapped up their high school badminton careers with strong performances at the EOSSAA badminton championships.
In men’s doubles, Oliver and Zach faced tough competition in pool play but finished their tournament on a high note with a hard-fought victory.
In ladies singles, Macey delivered an impressive showing, finishing second in her pool. She advanced to the semifinals, where she was defeated by the eventual gold medalist, before rebounding to capture the bronze medal in straight sets.
Coaches and supporters praised the athletes for their dedication and accomplishments throughout their time at GSS. The performances mark a strong conclusion to their high school badminton careers, with all three athletes recognized for their commitment, sportsmanship, and success on the court.
