The 32nd annual McHappy Day was a major success in Kingston and Gananoque, raising more than $72,000 for local charitable programs and families in need.
Funds raised during the event will support Ronald McDonald House Ottawa and the YMCA Kids’ Camp Program, helping families access accommodations, resources, and opportunities for children throughout the region.
Owner Todd Shea thanked both the community and restaurant employees for their strong support and generosity throughout the fundraiser.
Shea says the organization is proud to give back and make a meaningful difference in the communities it serves.
McHappy Day is an annual fundraising event held at McDonald’s restaurants across Canada, with proceeds supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities and other local community initiatives. Organizers say this year’s results once again highlight the strong spirit of giving throughout Kingston and Gananoque.
