Residents in Gananoque are encouraged to take part in a town-wide “Trash to Treasures Day” this Saturday, May 23rd.
The event promotes recycling and reuse by inviting people to place gently used household items at the curb, clearly marked “FREE,” for others to pick up.
Items can be set out no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and must be removed by 7:00 p.m. if they are not claimed.
The initiative aims to reduce waste while giving unwanted goods a second life within the community.
Furniture, décor, and small household items are among the goods typically shared.
For more details, residents can contact Gananoque Public Works by phone or email.
