Families across the region will have a free option to keep young people busy during the upcoming PA Day on Friday, May 29, thanks to special programming at Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library branches.
The library is hosting a variety of drop-in activities, including Play-Doh fun, colouring pages, Lego building and a “search and find” challenge.
Events will run at multiple locations throughout the day, with Seeley’s Bay open from 9 a.m. to noon, Lansdowne from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Lyndhurst from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Organizers say the initiative offers a creative, welcoming space for children and families while schools are closed.
