Four students from Gananoque Intermediate and Secondary School are being recognized after taking part in the 2026 Rotary Youth Leadership Award program.
Leah Millar and Emily Raymond were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Gananoque, while Julia Taylor and Della Davis were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kingston.
The students recently attended a three-day leadership program at RKY Camp in Parham, Ontario alongside approximately 80 students from across Rotary District 7040, which includes communities in Eastern Ontario and northern New York State.
Organizers say the leadership experience focused on building confidence, teamwork, communication, and community involvement.
Officials say the students returned home with new friendships and leadership skills that will help them continue serving their communities in the future.
