Visitors to Centennial Park can now enjoy a summer treat as the park’s canteen officially opens for the season.
Organizers say the canteen will operate every Wednesday throughout June from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the waterfront park located on Haskins Point Road in Seeley’s Bay.
The canteen will offer a variety of ice cream flavours and refreshments for residents and visitors spending time at the park.
Officials say the weekly opening is aimed at helping families and community members make the most of the warmer weather while enjoying the popular outdoor gathering space.
