A 31-year-old Gananoque resident has been charged following an incident that drew a response from the Gananoque Police Service on May 27, 2026.
Police say officers were called after reports of a person yelling obscenities at pedestrians in the area. When officers arrived, they located the individual and also observed damage to a nearby sidewalk allegedly caused by the same person.
As a result of the investigation, the individual was arrested and charged with mischief, specifically destroying or damaging property.
The accused was later released on an appearance notice and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
