The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands will be celebrating our local seniors with a Seniors Month Celebration event at the Lansdowne Community Building in Lansdowne on Thursday June 11th from 2-4pm. Here’s Communications and Community Engagement Coordinator Tracy Holland.
Holland says the Senior of the Year Award will be handed out but others will also be recognized.
Holland says this event encourages the younger crowd to attend and it’s important they do.
Several local elected officials are scheduled to be on hand including TLTI Mayor Corinna Smith Gatcke and local MPP Steve Clark. Thursday full schedule can be found below.
