Families in Lansdowne will soon be able to enjoy the upgraded Jerry Park as work on the project nears completion.
Township officials say new sod has been installed and grass seed planted throughout the park. Crews continue to water the area to encourage healthy growth, and residents are being asked to stay off the newly sodded and seeded sections until they become established.
A soft opening of the park’s new playground structure and the reopening of the splash pad are planned for this weekend. The upgrades are part of ongoing efforts to enhance recreational amenities for local families and visitors.
The Township thanked residents for their patience during construction and says only a few finishing touches remain. Details on an official grand opening celebration are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
