A 31-year-old individual is facing multiple charges following a trespassing incident at a local Gananoque business on June 5.
Gananoque Police were called to the location after reports of a person refusing to leave the property. Officers say the individual continued to block the business entrance after being asked to leave. During the investigation, police also determined that property damage had occurred.
The accused was arrested and charged with mischief interfering with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property, mischief causing damage, and loitering in a public place. The individual also received a Provincial Offence Notice under the Trespass to Property Act for entering premises where entry was prohibited.
Police confirm the accused was held in custody pending a show cause bail hearing.
