The Township of Leeds and Thousand Islands Council is set to tackle a busy agenda during its meeting Monday evening in Lansdowne.
Among the largest items is a recommendation to award a contract for a new Water Storage and Booster Pumping Station. Council is being asked to approve an additional $2.1 million in capital funding through construction debt and award the project to Dalcon Constructors Ltd. at a cost of nearly $6.6 million.
Council will also consider approving an additional $111,000 for the rehabilitation of the Black Rapids Road Bridge, bringing the project total to more than $367,000.
Other agenda items include the Township’s 2025 audited financial statements, community improvement grants for properties in Lyndhurst and Lansdowne, a councillor appointment to the Leeds County OPP Detachment Board, and a proposal to install a memorial bench for Dr. Briggs at the Seeley’s Bay Harbour.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers and will be available virtually.
