A cheque presentation was made on Tuesday by the Gananoque Legion to representatives from Kingston Military Family Resource Centre in the amount of $600. The funding will go to support the Resource Centre’s Community Engagement Outreach and Connection Initiatives. Legion member John Price had this to say about the donation.
Communications and Outreach Manager Breanne Lambert said this donation will go to many support for families.
She says being able to have support from other communities like Gananoque is something they are very blessed to have.
Poppy Chair Owen Fitzgerald, Veteran Service Officer Alfred Read and first Vice President and Public Relations Officer Janet Gaylord were on hand to present the cheque on behalf of the Gananoque Legion. The funding will go to support the Resource Centre’s Community Engagement Outreach and Connection Initiatives.
