Police arrested a 53-year-old Lyndhurst resident and charged him with impaired operation, impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration over the legal limit, operation while prohibited, and stunt driving for excessive speed. The vehicle was impounded for 45 days and the accused was held for a bail hearing.
The second incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. after a concerned citizen reported that a driver involved in a collision may have been impaired.
