The 20th annual 1000 Islands Family Ribfest begins today behind the Lou Jeffries Arena with plenty for the whole family to enjoy. Aside from the mouth watering ribs there will be a lot happening for all ages as Pam Hudson tells us.
Everything begins at 11am today but that’s just the start of the weekend as Jason Page tells us.
Admission is $4 to get in but there is also something new this year according to Pam Hudson.
Several professional Pit Masters will be on hand for the weekend and compete for the title of Best Ribs and People’s Choice. The event is accessible for everyone however pets are not permitted on site. Service dogs are allowed and there is also an onsite ATM available for those in attendance.
