Motorists in Gananoque are being advised of a temporary road closure on Monday, July 13, as asphalt work takes place on Charles Street North.
The closure will affect Charles Street North between Brock Street and Garden Street for the duration of the project. Town officials expect the work to be completed and the road reopened by approximately 4 p.m.
A signed detour route will be in place to help direct traffic around the construction zone. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra travel time, follow posted signage, and use caution when travelling near the work area.
The Town says the closure is necessary to complete scheduled road improvements safely and efficiently and is thanking residents, businesses, and motorists for their patience and cooperation while the work is carried out.
