Summer sounds will fill Joel Stone Park this weekend as Waterfront Concerts return to Gananoque’s waterfront.
Residents and visitors are invited to bring a lawn chair and enjoy two free evenings of live entertainment along the St. Lawrence River. The concerts take place Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18, with both shows beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Friday night will feature the LaSalle Causeway Swing Band, a 16-member Kingston-based group known for performing big band and swing music.
Saturday’s performance will showcase local talent with The Red-Handed, a Gananoque-based rock and blues band formed in 2024. The group has performed at venues throughout Gananoque, the 1000 Islands region and Kingston.
The Gananoque and Area Food Bank will also be onsite collecting non-perishable food donations to support local families.
The concerts are free, family-friendly, and open to everyone at Joel Stone Park, located at 125 Water Street.
