Free live music returns to Joel Stone Park this weekend as the Gananoque Waterfront Concert Series joins forces with Le FestivÎLES for two evenings of entertainment.
Concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 31, with award-winning singer-songwriter Kristine St-Pierre, followed by bilingual pop group LGS.
The music continues on Saturday, August 1, featuring Ottawa country-rock performer Erica Brighthill Band and Franco-Ontarian country duo Sugar Crush, known for their energetic live shows.
The concerts are free to attend and are part of Le FestivÎLES, Gananoque’s bilingual celebration of music, culture and community.
The Gananoque and Area Food Bank will also be on site throughout the weekend collecting non-perishable food donations to support local families.
Organizers encourage residents and visitors to bring a lawn chair, enjoy the waterfront and take in a weekend of live entertainment while supporting a local community cause.
