The Gananoque Soup Kitchen is raising funds in a unique way to keep it up and running through November 30th of this year. Gord McFarlane told us during a special event on King Street, as to what they are doing to collect the funds.
McFarlane says this special Tape Day Fundraiser will take place across the Town, including in front of West Side Moroni’s, where the Soup Kitchen is located.
Tape Day Fundraiser will take place across the Town on Saturday August 1st from 11am until 3pm. He talks about the goal for they want to reach and says, this is vital to help keep this worth while cause in operation.
McFarlane added that they idea is very simple, you come to the location where the tape is and with help from volunteers, place your donation on the tape and help support a great community effort.
