Local police officers in the Town of Gananoque are ready to take kids fishing on Sunday August 9th for the annual Kids, Cops and Canadian Tire Finish Days from 9am until noon at Joel Stone Park. Mike Driscoll from the Gananoque Police Service says nobody shows up or leaves empty handed.
There is more to the event than just the fishing part.
Some special guests will also be on hand for the day.
There will be multiple agencies in attendance and the event is also open to everyone from all regions. He thanks everyone who has had a hand in making this event so successful. Prizes will be handed out and Driscoll thanks everyone who has contributed to this event.
