Car enthusiasts and community members are invited to the 12th Annual Limestone City Car Classic on Saturday, September 5 at the Kingston Memorial Centre.
The event runs rain or shine at 303 York Street and features hundreds of vehicles, live music from Sittin’ Ducks from noon to 2 p.m., food, vendors, prizes, 50/50 draws and trophies in 25 categories. Spectator admission is free, with vehicle registration set at $15.
Organized by the Limestone City Car Club, the annual event raises funds and awareness for the Kingston Melanoma Cancer Clinic in memory of Melonie Beatty, who passed away from melanoma at age 35.
Since the first show in 2013, the event has raised more than $137,000 for the clinic, helping support melanoma care and research in the Kingston community.
