The Gananoque Food Bank is thanking the community for its generous support during Saturday’s Cruising Against Hunger food drive.
The event, organized with the Gananoque Youth in Policing Initiative and Gananoque Police Service, collected 528 pounds of non-perishable food donations, along with what organizers described as very substantial monetary contributions.
The food drive was held outside local grocery stores, giving residents an opportunity to support families and individuals who rely on the Food Bank.
Organizers are thanking the Youth in Policing Initiative and Gananoque Police Service for their hard work in making the event possible, while also recognizing the generosity of local residents.
The Gananoque Food Bank says the strong response demonstrates the community’s continued commitment to helping those in need.
