A reminder for residents of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands that the TLTI in the Park program continues to offer free outdoor activities and opportunities to connect with neighbours this summer.
Big Games in the Park take place Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Centennial Park in Seeley’s Bay and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Jerry Park in Lansdowne.
Residents looking to get some exercise and enjoy some social time can also take part in morning meetups beginning at 8 a.m. Mondays at Jonas Park in Lyndhurst, Wednesdays at Jerry Park in Lansdowne and Fridays at Centennial Park in Seeley’s Bay.
Township officials say the program is designed to promote healthy living, recreation and community connection throughout the summer.
Residents are encouraged to take advantage of these free activities and get active while meeting others in their community.
