Residents have one last chance to donate items for the Lansdowne Agricultural Society’s upcoming Closet Sale. The final drop-off date is scheduled for August 22 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Lansdowne Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
Organizers are collecting gently used clothing, footwear, accessories, warmwear, home items, and books or magazines. Donations will help stock the annual sale, which encourages community members to give unwanted items a second life while finding affordable treasures.
The Closet Sale will take place August 29 and 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the fairgrounds. Organizers say community support through donations is key to the event’s success.
