Motorists in Gananoque are being reminded of a temporary Water Street closure this Saturday, August 22nd, as the Town makes room for a special event at Joel Stone Park.
Water Street will be closed between Market Street and Kate Street from 6 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
The temporary closure is intended to accommodate the evening’s activities and provide a safer area for those attending the event.
Residents and visitors heading to the Island Harbour Club will still have access during the closure. Traffic can travel from Water Street to Market Street and then continue to St. Lawrence Street.
The Town is thanking residents and motorists for their patience and understanding while the closure is in place.
The closure coincides with an evening of free live entertainment at Joel Stone Park, with activities getting underway at 7:30 p.m.
