Community, a barbecue, fire trucks, local OPP cruisers were just some of the sights at a Community BBQ and Touch a Truck event happening at Jerry Park in Lansdowne Sunday afternoon. The event was put on by MP Michael Barrett and his team. We asked him why he chose to host this event.
Barrett had plenty to thank for a successful day.
Local OPP were on hand plus Leeds 1000 Islands Fire Service. Barrett acknowledged their recent donation to Firefighters Without Borders.
Kids got the chance to check out some of the fire trucks and OPP Cruisers on display, plus take in the brand new play structure that recently opened. Several TLTI Councilors were on hand for the day as well.
