Learning to skate can be fun for all ages and a popular program is back again this year in Gananoque at the Gan 401 Rink. Sharon Nixon is the organizer of the Learn to Skate program and says spots are filling up quickly for the fall sessions.

Nixon tells us where you can sign up for the Sunday sessions from 9am until noon.
Last year over 100 skaters took part in the program which is open to anyone in any region. If you miss the fall sessions, sign ups for the winter will be taking place soon. With small groups taking to the ice, plenty of coaches are available for students with one coach for every two skaters, which Nixon added, worked very well last season. No additional fundraising, volunteer hours or additional fees are required for the Learn to Sk8 Program.
