The Town of Gananoque is wrapping up its 2026 Waterfront Concert series this weekend with two free evenings of live music at Joel Stone Park.
On Friday, August 28th at 7:30 p.m., local band Lost Channel will take the stage with a classic rock performance. The group, formed in Gananoque, draws inspiration from life in the 1000 Islands.
Saturday’s concert begins at 6:30 p.m. and features Pearl Jamming, a Pearl Jam tribute band from Toronto. The group recreates the sound and energy of Pearl Jam’s studio recordings and live performances, including songs such as Alive, Better Man, Even Flow and Daughter.
Admission is free and the concerts are family-friendly. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the waterfront setting.
The Gananoque and Area Food Bank will also be onsite collecting non-perishable food donations. The concerts are sponsored by the Town and its Tourism Advisory Panel.
