Visitors will have a chance to shop local and support regional artisans when the annual Lansdowne Craft Fair returns on Saturday, October 17.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lansdowne Community Building, located at 1 Jessie Street. Organized by the Leeds and 1000 Islands Historical Society, the fair has been a community tradition since 1978.
Attendees can browse a variety of handmade products from local craftspeople, including woodworkers, metalworkers, knitters, quilters, bakers, soapmakers, jewellery makers, dollmakers and other artisans. Organizers say door prizes will be available throughout the day, and food will be offered on-site.
Admission is $3, while children under 12 can attend free of charge.
