Environment Canada has issued a Yellow Advisory for heavy fog in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands.
Near-zero visibility is expected in some areas, with locally dense fog continuing into early Monday morning before gradually dissipating.
Travel could be hazardous in some locations, with visibility potentially being reduced suddenly at times.
Motorists are urged to use extra caution while travelling, especially on roads where fog is particularly dense. Drivers should slow down, leave plenty of space between vehicles and be prepared for rapidly changing visibility.
The advisory will remain in effect as the dense fog moves through the area before conditions improve this morning.
