Road construction is planned on two Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands roads next week.
Greenwood Paving crews will begin mobilizing Tuesday, September 8th, for the Township’s Slurry Seal Resurfacing Program. Work is scheduled to continue until Wednesday, September 9th at 4 p.m.
Affected roads include Junetown Road, from County Road 4 to Escott-Yonge Townline Road, and Escott-Yonge Townline Road, from Junetown Road to Ballycanoe Road.
Motorists travelling through the work areas are being asked to slow down, obey all traffic signs and give paving crews plenty of space to work safely.
The Township says motorists should expect some disruptions while the resurfacing work is underway.
