A section of sidewalk on King Street East in Gananoque is temporarily closed as construction work gets underway.
The Town says the sidewalk along 41 King Street East, between King Street and Pine Street, will remain closed through September 16th while sidewalk improvements are completed by the Town and its contractor.
Residents and pedestrians are asked to avoid the work area while construction is underway. The Town says the closure is in place to help keep the public and construction crews safe.
Pedestrians should follow all posted signage and use any designated detours around the construction zone.
Motorists are also reminded to use caution when travelling through the area and to watch for pedestrians navigating around the closure.
The Town thanks residents for their patience while the sidewalk improvements are completed.
