A sidewalk closure on King Street East in Gananoque continues today as a contractor completes restoration work.
The Town says the sidewalk at 580 King Street East is temporarily closed while crews carry out restoration work on the sidewalk and property entrance. The planned disruption began yesterday, September 10th, and is expected to continue through today, September 11th.
Residents and pedestrians travelling through the area are being asked to use caution and follow all posted signage while the work is underway.
The Town says the temporary closure is necessary to allow the contractor to safely complete the restoration work.
Anyone travelling near 580 King Street East should be prepared for the sidewalk disruption and follow any directions in place around the work zone.
The Town of Gananoque is thanking residents for their patience and cooperation while the work is completed.
