A section of Black Rapids Road in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands is closed to through traffic as bridge replacement work gets underway.
The closure is in effect from 121 to 134 Black Rapids Road and began Tuesday, September 15th. The road is expected to remain closed through Tuesday, September 22nd, unless otherwise posted.
No through traffic will be permitted in the work area while the bridge replacement takes place.
Motorists are asked to plan ahead and use an alternate route during the closure.
The Township says the temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to safely complete the bridge replacement work.
