A recent corn roast at the Gananoque Farmers’ Market has raised $235 for the Linklater Breakfast Club.
The event was hosted by the Gananoque and 1000 Islands Visitor Centre and the Gananoque Fire Department, bringing residents together for an evening of food, fun and community spirit.
Organizers are thanking everyone who came out to enjoy the event, make a donation and support the cause.
The Linklater Breakfast Club helps provide breakfast support for local students, making community fundraising efforts an important part of helping the program continue.
Organizers say the generosity of those who attended helped make the evening a success.
The event also provided an opportunity for residents to connect with the community while enjoying fresh corn and supporting a local cause.
