Roadside spraying to control phragmites is underway on several roads in the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
The Township says the fall pesticide program will continue through September 30th.
Residents may notice spraying along Union Road, Fairfax Road, Maple Grove Road, Russell Road and Sand Bay Road.
Spraying will also take place along County Road 2 at the Escott Archives property.
The program is aimed at managing phragmites, an invasive plant species found along roadsides and other areas.
