Routine maintenance on the sanitary sewer system in Lansdowne is scheduled for October 13th through 16th.
The Ontario Clean Water Agency will be conducting high-pressure cleaning of sanitary sewers located in the roadway. Work will take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.
Residents are being advised that the cleaning can sometimes create back pressure, which may cause splashing in toilets. During the work, residents should keep toilet seats closed and avoid using toilets when maintenance vehicles are nearby.
Once the vehicles have left the area, residents can resume normal use. They are also asked to run water from all plumbing fixtures for at least five seconds after the work is complete.
