A local fundraiser this weekend will give residents a chance to get behind the wheel while supporting young hockey players in Gananoque.
Gan Chev is hosting a Drive for a Cause event Saturday, September 26th at the Lou Jeffries Arena.
From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., residents can take a test drive, with Gan Chev donating 20 dollars to Gan Minor Hockey for every completed test drive.
There is no cost to participate, and organizers say the test drive takes just a few minutes.
The fundraiser is designed to help support Gan Minor Hockey and local young athletes as they prepare for another season on the ice.
Residents are encouraged to bring friends and family, take a test drive and help raise money for the local hockey program.
The event takes place at the Lou Jeffries Arena in Gananoque.
