The Lou Jeffries Gananoque & District Sportsplex will be busy this weekend as Gananoque Minor Hockey hosts the annual Thousand Islands Preseason Tilt.
All three Gananoque Minor Hockey Rep teams will compete in the tournament, giving local fans a chance to see the Islanders in action ahead of the regular season.
Organizers are inviting residents to come out, show their Islander pride and cheer on the home teams throughout the weekend.
With tournament games taking over the rink, public skating will not be available this weekend.
Fans are encouraged to head down to the Lou and support local hockey.
