The Frontenac Howe Islander County-operated ferry will be out of service for several hours Tuesday, September 29th, while maintenance work is completed.
The ferry will be out of service from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. during the scheduled maintenance period. Residents and visitors who rely on the ferry to travel to and from Howe Island are being reminded to plan their trips accordingly and allow extra time for their travel plans.
The temporary service disruption is only scheduled for the morning and early afternoon, with ferry service expected to resume at 1 p.m.
Travellers are encouraged to plan ahead and make any necessary arrangements before heading to the ferry.
