Here’s what’s happening in Gananoque and the Thousand Islands:
A reminder that the free Youth Drop in Sessions will take place at the Gananoque Public Library from 2:30 until 5pm. The sessions are free for youth in grades 5 through 12.
Local seniors aged 55 plus can head to The Wrinkle Room today for plenty of activities to keep you busy. The accessible room is open upstairs at the Gananoque Legion from 1 until 4pm.
In honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day, A Lantern Walk will take place at 6pm beginning at Town Hall Park. The evening will include guest speakers and time for reflection. Everyone is welcome to attend.
If you are looking to get back on the ice, the Lou Jeffries Arena Public Skating sessions are back for the year. Today’s session runs from 2:30 until 4pm and is $3 per person. Standard skating supports are permitted, but horseplay, tag and racing are not allowed. No pre-registration is required.
