Job seekers in Kingston will have a chance to meet potential employers without the pressure of a traditional job fair later this month.
The Career Collective: A Job Connections Fair – Halloween Edition will take place Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Academy of Learning Career College in Kingston.
Academic Director, Tara Teeling says the Halloween-themed event will feature decorations, candy and a festive atmosphere designed to make networking more welcoming.
Attendees can meet employers, explore career opportunities, build professional connections and bring resumes. Costumes are encouraged, but attendees can also come as themselves.
Organizers hope the Halloween twist will help job seekers turn the fear of finding work into new career opportunities.
The event is open to all ages and offers free parking.
