The Town of Gananoque’s water tower is scheduled for exterior cleaning and a technical inspection of its surface and protective coating.
The work will take place during daytime hours from October 19th at 8am through October 22nd at 5pm and may temporarily affect the tower’s outside appearance.
The Town says any issues identified during the cleaning and inspection will be addressed as part of a larger renewal project planned for summer 2027.
Residents are being advised that the work will not affect normal water distribution or drinking water delivery to homes and businesses.
The inspection is intended to assess the condition of the tower’s exterior and coating ahead of the planned renewal project.
The Town is thanking residents for their patience while the work is underway.
Officials say water service will continue as usual throughout the cleaning and inspection, with no disruption expected for local customers.
