The Town of Gananoque has closed its splash pad and several public washrooms for the season as colder weather approaches.
Effective October 13th, the splash pad at Joel Stone Park, along with washrooms at Joel Stone Park, Confederation Park, the ball diamonds and behind the arena, will remain closed through the winter.
The Town says the splash pad is expected to reopen in spring 2027, while the washrooms are scheduled to reopen in May 2027.
Residents and visitors looking for public washrooms can still access facilities at Town Hall, located at 30 King Street East, and the Visitor Centre at 10 King Street East.
Both locations are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Town is thanking residents for another successful summer season and looks forward to welcoming everyone back next spring.
