The first session of the Lyndhurst Lug-Nuts Ukulele Group has already wrapped up, but there are still plenty of opportunities for residents to join in this fall.
Hosted at the Lyndhurst Library, the program offers a beginner-friendly environment for adults interested in learning the ukulele. Beginner lessons run from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a community strum-along from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Open to players of all skill levels.
While the October 10 session has passed, upcoming dates include October 24, November 14, November 28 and December 12. Registration is required for the beginner lessons, and loaner ukuleles may be available upon request.
Organizers say the program is designed to provide a fun, relaxed way for participants to develop musical skills and connect with others in the community.
