Corinna Smith-Gatcke has been elected mayor of the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands, according to unofficial results from the 2026 municipal election.
Three councillors were elected in Ward 1: Terry Fodey, Brian B. Mabee and Todd Robertson.
In Ward 2, Monique Antoine-Hartley and Angela Kelman secured the two available council seats.
Krista LeClair Waddell was elected as the successful candidate in Ward 3.
The unofficial results determine the incoming township council, with representatives set to make decisions on local services, infrastructure, planning, recreation and municipal spending.
Residents can expect the new council to take on its responsibilities following the completion of the municipal election process and confirmation of the official results.
