Looking for a reason to get out of the house this week? There’s plenty happening at local libraries and the Gananoque Legion, with activities for kids, teens and those young at heart!
Let’s start Tuesday in Lansdowne. The LTI Public Library has Knit and Crochet beginning at 10 o’clock in the morning. Then, bring the kids back for Kids Club at 3:30 p.m.
Over in Gananoque, the Public Library is hosting its Youth Drop-In from 2:30 until 5 p.m. Students in grades five through twelve are welcome to stop by, hang out and connect with friends.
And for the 55-plus crowd, head upstairs at the Gananoque Legion and check out the Wrinkle Room. It’s open for a variety of activities, and the space is fully accessible.
There are also a couple of regular favourites at the Legion. Euchre gets underway every Wednesday at 1 p.m., while Thursday night means Bingo, starting at 6:30.
So whether you’re looking to learn a new skill, meet some people or try your luck at Bingo, there’s something on the community calendar for you!
