The Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library is making it easier for residents throughout the township to enjoy free digital entertainment with the launch of a new Tech Tuesday series.
The weekly feature will highlight digital services available to library cardholders at all Leeds and the Thousand Islands Public Library branches, including Lansdowne, Lyndhurst and Seeley’s Bay.
The first installment focuses on e-books and audiobooks through the Libby and Hoopla apps, allowing members to borrow thousands of titles and enjoy them on smartphones, tablets and e-readers.
The library is also highlighting popular new releases, including The Witch by Freida McFadden, Hollow Bones by Jodi Picoult and Exit Party by Emily St. John Mandel. Some popular titles may require a hold.
Residents can visit any branch for assistance setting up the apps and accessing these free services.
