Lots happening around Gananoque and the Thousand Islands this weekend, so grab your calendar and get ready to get out and about!
Starting today, chess enthusiasts can put their skills to the test at Chess Nuts at the Lansdowne Public Library, beginning at 3:45 this afternoon.
Looking ahead to Saturday and Sunday, the Gananoque Rotary Club Christmas Craft Fair runs both days from 10 until 4. It’s a great opportunity to get a head start on Christmas shopping and support local vendors.
Sunday morning, the Gananoque Legion is serving up brunch from 9 until noon. Just 10 dollars per plate, five dollars for children aged five to twelve, and kids under five eat free.
Then head to the Lyndhurst Legion Sunday afternoon for some toe-tapping country music with Cowboy Mark. The dance runs from 1 until 5, with admission 20 dollars per person.
And don’t forget, the Seeley’s Bay Legion hosts its Friday Social Hour from 3 until 6, with darts getting underway at 7.
One more important reminder: Canadian Blood Services is holding a blood donor clinic at the Firehall Theatre in Gananoque Friday from 2 until 6. Around 40 appointments are still available. Book yours at blood dot C-A or through the GiveBlood app.
